Giving Opportunities
Providence Academy provides several ways to contribute and make charitable gifts to further the ministry of Building Leaders for Christ. Each of the options presents certain advantages, depending on the contributors' personal preferences. Donors are encouraged to consult with a financial advisor to determine the best way to make a gift, since all are impacted by changing tax laws. Providence is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and all qualifying donations are tax-deductible. Following are several options to consider:
Cash or Check: A donation via check can be made out to Providence Academy, P.O. Box 173, Lowell, AR 72745. You can also give by credit card online.
Securities and Stock: Gifts of securities or stocks are often tax-wise options. The donor can receive an income tax deduction for the full fair market of the donated stock while avoiding capital gains tax on the contributed shares.
IRA Distributions: For donors who are 70 1/2 or older, IRA distributions may provide a wise pre-tax gift option.
Real Estate and Tangible Property
Planned Gifts: Planned giving is a wonderful method of investing in Providence that may allow many people to give measurably beyond what they could give in current or cash gifts. Some planned gifts may provide opportunity for beneficiary income and/or tax benefits.
Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash: Providence Academy is able to process donations made in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash through the cryptocurrency service provider BitPay. Click on the button below to contribute in cryptocurrency.
