Hill Family Story
The Hill family chose Providence Academy!
This fall will mark our fourth year at Providence Academy. Three years ago we moved from Nashville, Tenn., where we lived for 15 years and where our boys attended two incredible classical Christian schools. Since I grew up in NWA and had friends at Providence, I always watched PCCA from afar and often wished we had a University-Model School® in Nashville.
Despite Middle Tennessee’s seemingly endless choices in private schools, nothing compared to what PCCA had achieved in merging the best of private and homeschool. Fancy five-day schools were a dime a dozen, but the focus on family time was glaringly absent. While we never expected to move back, Jason received a wonderful job offer in Bentonville. Before accepting the position we called Providence to see if they had space, as that was a determining factor in our decision.
Our boys started Providence in third and fifth grades and fell right into step, since much of the curriculum was the same as our previous ACCS schools’. The model is perfect for our family, and the boys love the mix of slow home days combined with classroom time and friends, and the incredible teachers we’ve been blessed with. It really is the best of both worlds, as well as the most unique and affordable private education in the region.
