Providence Academy Enrollment Record!
The 2010/2011 school year is here, and both campuses are bustling with new and returning students. Despite the economic uncertainty, we continue to see God's incredible blessings on the school. Based on initial projections, student enrollment has increased for a sixth consecutive year (+15% this year).

Providence Signs Agreement with John Brown University
Providence Classical Christian Academy is pleased to announce an agreement has been signed with John Brown University to offer dual-credit courses for PCCA students. Starting with the 2010/2011 school year, students at Providence will be able to take college-level courses on campus that will count both for graduation at PCCA, as well as transferable college credit through JBU. The first course offered this fall semester for PCCA high school students is college algebra, and it will be taught by Dr. Jerri Dwyer (a current PCCA college of faculty member) at the PCCA Upper School campus. Plans are already underway to expand the number of courses taught through the Providence Academy/John Brown University Dual-Credit program.
Board President, Tom Guthrie was quoted as saying, "We are so pleased to be able to offer dual-credit courses to PCCA students through this partnership with John Brown University. It has always been part of the vision of PCCA to be the finest independent, Christ-centered, K-12 college preparatory academy in the region, and we believe this partnership with a leading university is a major step in us being able to achieve our goal. We are very fortunate to be able to partner with a 4-year university of JBU's caliber, and this program allow PCCA students to be taught rigorous, university-level course work in a Christ-centered environment".
John Brown was recently ranked second among Southern regional colleges in the US News and World Report, America's Best Colleges 2011 edition.
