Ways to Give

E-mail Print

Providence Academy provides several ways to contribute and make charitable gifts to further the ministry of raising up the next generation for the kingdom. Each of the options presents certain advantages, depending on the contributors' personal preference. Donors are encouraged to consult with a financial advisor to determine the best way to make a gift, since all are impacted by changing tax laws. Following are several options to consider.

Providence is a non-profit 501c3 organization, and all qualifying donations are tax-deductible.

Financial Pledge: Some supporters of the ministry may choose to provide a weekly, monthly, or annual pledge.

Gifts of Cash: A Cash donation can be made by check, or credit card.

Gifts of Securities: Gifts of securities are often tax-wise options. The donor can receive an income tax deduction for the full fair market of the donated stock, while avoiding capital gains tax on the contributed shares. The donor will want to obtain a securities transfer from the front office in order to make this type of donation.

Endowed Fund Gifts: Providence Academy will work with the donor to establish a specific endowment in the name of the donor, or direct them to one of the existing endowments established to support the improvement of the academy.

Planned Gifts/Estate Plan Gifts: In order to continue the tradition of providing a Christ-centered, college-preparatory education to Christian families, Providence has established an unrestricted endowment to provide the necessary funds to ensure the long-term excellence of the academy.
