Welcome to the Providence-Academy website. I want to thank you for taking the time to consider PCCA. We are a classical, Christian University-Model School®, a certified member of the National Association of University-Model Schools®, that is meeting the needs of students across Northwest Arkansas, and I am very excited about what is taking place here.
At Providence we believe in using a distinctively classical approach with a Christian perspective in educating our students. Our vision is to partner with parents and provide our students with an exceptional, college-preparatory education. In order to accomplish this vision, we seek to glorify God while using an innovative educational model that is spreading in influence on a national level.
I would like to share a little of our story with you. In 2002, a group of parents decided to pursue a different approach in educating their children. They had discovered a very successful and fascinating model being used in the State of Texas. This unparalleled educational format, which is now being utilized by more than forty (40) schools nationwide, is based largely upon one principle—increased parent involvement through freshly innovative scheduling. PCCA was birthed from this shared vision; countless hours of prayer, research, and implementation have taken place to provide the opportunity for greater parental involvement to families in Northwest Arkansas and Southern Missouri.
Why is parental involvement so important? I believe the Bible makes it clear that parents primarily have the privilege and responsibility of educating their children. Not surprising, statistics also demonstrate time and time again the increased likelihood of success on the part of children whose parents take this role.
Since parents usually need help in order to provide an excellent education for their children, PCCA exists to give access to professional instruction, researched curriculum, individualized encouragement, and clear structure.
I invite you to take a little time and read more about Providence on this website. I also invite you to attend one of our informational meetings in order to become more familiar with our exciting school. The dates and times of upcoming informational meetings are on this site. Finally, I invite you to prayerfully consider being a part of the Providence family. God is doing great things here.
In Christ,
